Sorry fren .... but THAT is what got us into this mess in the first place. Being a true Christian doesn't necessarily ALWAYS include turning the other cheek and praying for our enemies ..... ESPECIALLY when those enemies are aligned with demons and in league with satan! Look how many so-called Christian churches preach acceptance of LBGTQ and so many other godless ideas. The time of forgiving must end .... FUCK THEM ALL!
Ironically, the parable of today's sermon was the master forgiving the servant's debt but the servant wouldn't forgive a debt owed him.
I read an interesting article printed here, where it was explained that when you pray for your enemy to see the light, you make the devil less strong. This makes a lot of sense to me. The Lord promised both forgiveness and accountability. I take Him at His word.
I am with you, our priest was telling us the same. We have to pray specially for our enemies, we need God to stop their deceitful ways and start forgiving because that’s the only way we can continue as God loving sons. We are part of God remember that so we are good people like him and his son our Lord Jesus Christ.
I've been thinking that Satan uses that as a tool against Christians. Among other Christian principles. Manipulation. Tapping into our sense of empathy and compassion. Then wham!
This is a war we're in, here on planet earth. Many churches have been infiltrated by satanists and hold leadership positions. So naturally, they won't talk about satan and how it operates. Which is key, to understanding what we're up against. As in war...know thy enemy.
I think about Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
I agree. I left my church of 25 years because the church leadership voted to support children changing their sex. My small parish certainly didn't endorse it, but there is no action against it. No discussion. And my money would go to support it. I can't go there. I think most in the parish don't even know about it, but I do and the leaders do too because I brought it up. And no response. It breaks my heart.
