The AfD is indeed installed, BUT only to show that our "democratic" system cannot be reformed from within. Even though their political program is that of conservatives and libertarians (CDU/CSU and FDP) of around 2000. And we, as well as the americans, should not wish for any government change before the crash because the people would blame the then government though it would be not responsible for the mess.
