Faith has worked for me in ways that are had to explain, and I came to understand it with maturity and a prayer practice. If I have Faith that God will fix all my troubles, and then something does not happen the way I asked, does my Faith falter? That is why many good people start to doubt, "well I prayed for this outcome and it did not work, maybe my prayers were not good enougn", NO! That is not how it works. The Faith that works, is # 1 - God in Christ are one, and he defeated death in Resurrection and you will know the same victory if you believe in HIM- The Faith that will change everything, is in knowing that God is in charge, that his plan is Divine, and much bigger and greater than anything you could envision. The Faith he seeks is that you constantly strive to accept his authority over EVERYTHING, the physical and the invisible, and that all will work out, all of it, all we have to do are the laws set out in Scripture, through Jesus Christ, honor him with our actions in the world, and pray for Faith to be stronger and stronger, praise him and glorify him. HIS will is not always our will, His Will is what will heal the world and bring man to heaven on earth. Have Faith that this will happen, and your life can become brighter, kinder, you will work harder and know peace of mind. God knows all.
Praying for faith to become stronger and stronger will NOT work. First you must do what God says you must do. FAITH COMES BY HEARING AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD. Hearing the Word/Bible grows faith......the more you HEAR it, the stronger your faith will be. That is why we should ALWAYS read the Bible OUTLOUD WHEN WE READ IT. And after you begin to acquire FAITH, the Bible say, ".....building yourself UP in your MOST HOLY FAITH, praying in the Holy Spirit........praying in the spirit as did the people on the day of Pentecost when the HolySpirit came in the upper room. Loved your post, lovemygod.
