If I recall correctly, it had to do with foreseeing and avoiding extradition of Americans that supported the Nazi regime. There were some powerful industrialists that favored the German government at the time. Furthermore, Operation Paperclip may not have been legal if the United States was a signatory of it.

Regarding VAWA that instituted the War against men using 'fear' (real or not). The Patriot Act instituted the War against 'terrorism' (real or not). The 'COVID' Pandemic and the lock-downs instituted a War against a 'virus' (real or not). Transexualism is instituted a war against women (real or not).

All of these declarations of wars (and more) set up immense government profit centers of operations... All wars require victors and casualties. Who are the victors and who are the casualties?
