Imagine all the corruption that would dry up over night if it was illegal for the US to send aid to countries that we have not signed a protectorate treaty with. Or any country for that matter.
Imagine how fast the budget would be balanced if the paychecks and assets of politicians and their families were frozen until the budget was balanced.
