There can be a natural human morality without belief in a supreme being that just so happens to love people on this one planet better than all the other people in the universe. Religions do not have a lock on spirituality. I would say they supress spiritual abilities in this world based on a false promise of eternal life that because of the nature of death can never be disproven.
I didn't know I was representing strict materialism. I had what seems to be an out of body experience with accurate observations. My spirit saw something far away in the night that proved correct the next day; spiritual ability.

Widespread and severe emotional damage is the reason so much of the world seems to refute that, and yes, the Cabal and tyrants generally are a major reason (but not the only reason) FOR that emotional damage.
