This is why I like where I live. Surrounded by farming fields (and thus farmers markets or stands) and I've never seen a person like the below picture. But I hate what the Democrats are doing to our state and trying to make farming as it is now illegal.
Speaking as a farmer, this isn't very accurate. For one, no one sprays large commercial acreage by hand (hehe) Additionally, there are still tons of private farms. As well as large organic operations. As time goes on, the efficacy of common chemistries is decreasing, bolstering a huge push for organic inputs, and biological controls. I'm not denying the evil out there but I wouldn't lump it all together
Understood… Grew up in a farming community… Love and appreciate all you do.. posted as it frustrates and angers me that In so many areas they are scrambling to buy up properties, make it harder for y’all to compete, and doing what the meme refers to, albeit with larger equipment… praying they don’t up the ante on the push against the organic you refer to..
If anyone reading this likes McDonalds French fries, I really implore you to look into how/why only certain potatoes are accepted. Then keep reading to find out all the steps required for the "perfect potatoes", then how long they jave to sit in an atmospheric controlled detoxification facility.
So toxic farmers have to wear full haz suits just like in the photo in all stages of growing and harvesting.
I aint even gonna get into the rest of their "foods". Fkin yuck.
An old timer on this board once suggested that frying donuts in lard or animal fat is the best way & that Mcdonald fries used to be the best because they used animal fat to fry them up.
Get a fry slicer, buy good potatoes, fry them on your stove using lard & decide for yourself. I aim for 350° F to fry them myself.
I have heard McDonald's laces all their food in High Fructose Corn Syrup, which turned off your ability to feel full IIRC & was more addictive than sugar (again IIRC). I really should have been archiving data & info for much longer. At least I learned & have been able to start recently.
Lard is truly a gift from God. I fry everything in it. Shrimp come out amazing.
Bacon grease is my go-to. I always have some in the fridge, and I fry just about everything in it (except bacon).
Interestingly this geneticist wrote a few articles on the Monsanto lawsuits & was surprised there weren't any against Monsanto competitors.
I have to admit, I find it odd too. This is a 3 article post written by them on Monsanto & their law suits.
