I always thought the story of Dutch travellers Lisanne Froon and Kris Kremers who went missing in Panama from hiking in 2014, and only ever turned up as a few bone fragments plus impeccably neat backpacks, was an odd case with seemingly more to it. Not implying there's any connection, but I do agree entirely about what most highly organised and funded 'humanitarian' operations are a front for.
