Capping laws. Or sliding scales based on income. It will be illegal to be wealthy off of the sickness of others. I don't have the technical answer though. That's why I wanted to discuss with you
I have heard there is a good system in Japan.
The state pays 60% of the cost of treatment and the other 40% is borne by the patient who has compulsory health insurance. This insurance is tightly regulated as to how much the patient can pay, its on a sliding scale.
But having said that I am not too sure of the details, if anyone can tell me what the true details are I would appreciate it
Ok. But how are you going to get people to work under those profit caps? Like I said before, greed is a motivating factor in working in this industry.
Who would it deter other than sales reps and pharma ceo's
Chemists, engineers, machinists, everyone who works in a lab developing and manufacturing drugs.
Anyone working to make things like MRI machines, x ray machines, all the specialized equipment that hospitals use in diagnostics and surgery
What are they developing to improve humanity. Every med comes with a side of effects lol. Equip manufacturers wouldn't be affected. That machine cost what it cost. Same for the people who build it. Me paying 500 dollars less for an MRI does not change the cost of equipment. Just less profit margin for the hospital.
