Yes it can, because all of the Oreo sellers have also been brainwashed. The child has not yet received that brainwashing and instead understands what has intrinsic value.
Good point 👍 it just makes us all a little crazy bc we would have made a different choice knowing we could buy a whole bunch of cookies with that money. But the underlying wisdom of what you say, that we have been brainwashed to believe paper and ink have real value. The sad thing is that our government forces us to use it whereby we become accomplices to this fraud.
