Regarding #1 - I was arguing with a liberal coworker years ago about how concealed carry reduces personal crimes (robbery, rape, etc), and could show him the FBI data to prove it. He kept saying he didn't believe it, and I finally said we're not discussing your religion. He still didn't understand - at least, I think that's what the deer in the headlights look meant....
I figured out socialism was a religion about 30 years ago. Didn't take long to find out that liberals hate it when their religion is exposed. Denial flows like a river.
Can I ask an honest question about FBI stats? All I hear around here is how the FBI is part of the swamp. They’re liars, cabal members, deep state, etc. If that’s true, why do we believe their stats?
A good question. Back ~35 years ago when Florida enacted their shall issue CC laws, the Dems required the FBI to collect stats as part of the legislation. They figured that all those guns in the hands of citizens would lead to a wild west situation, and they could revisit the law in a couple years and use the FBI stats to prove that they needed to stop the killing. It backfired spectacularly. A reporter interviewed several convicted felons after a couple of tourists were robbed, and they admitted they didn't fear the police, tourists were easy victims, but random citizens were likely to be armed and deadly.

That line -- "we're not discussing your religion" -- has so many layers to it that it's an amazing response.
Bravo.
Thanks fren.
