A message I received a few minutes ago from a friend:
ABSOLUTELY!!! Stop the lying to the people!!! CNN is nashing their teeth! A Conservative Republican Representative from Tennessee just gave testimony that he had been praying about the vote, oh my, and McCarthy had mocked him about seeking God, so he ended up deciding to vote against McCarthy. It was very hard for him. Yet, he DID what God was leading him to do. Please pray 🙏 for this gentleman, who is willing to take a stand and live by his Christian convictions. 💖
We called each congressman to thank them for what must have been a difficult day and to tell them we are with them as we understand the pressure will get worse. Left messages on VM for all…but I think they could use some positive feedback from “we, the people.”
