Makes perfect sense. Dude is probably either dead or a turnip by now. Had he resigned earlier there would have to be a special election in PA. If Fetterman makes it past a certain date then our esteemed gov Fraud Shapiro can just name his replacement. Gisele already fancies herself as a senator anyway, the pics on her social media show HER in front of his office with him half cropped out. For Fetterman, it would probably be a relief to have to resign anyway and not have the responsibilities of the office.
