The prospect of war with Russia doesn’t sound anywhere near as appealing with words like “Draft” being thrown around. It’s easy to send money and foreigners off to die. It’s dramatically less easy when you run out of foreigners and it becomes your turn.
It’s also becoming readily apparent that public opinion is turning. And they want to stay politically relevant. Frankly I hazard a guess they’re already working on ways to spin MAGA as somehow being pro-Ukraine funds and Pro-War.
