This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.

In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Most ancient scriptures around the world have common themes. Sumerian mythology is eerily similar to whats in old testament, and Hindu mythology has many of the same stories as well.
One theory I find compelling is that Humanity had an encounter with Beings from elsewhere. You can think of them as from a different dimension (spiritual) or from outer space (aliens). These Beings had a very strong impact on the direction of Humanity. Various Beings visited various civilizations - hence they all have different mythology, but with similar themes and common stories.
Deep State derived from a group of people who allied themselves to one or more malign Beings.
For some reason, eventually these Beings had to leave Earth (or hide in the underground). Religious beliefs depended on which particular Beings impacted those religions.
The battle between the two groups - followers of malign Beings and followers of benign Beings - has been going ever since, culminating to where we are today. This is why Q said "Its going to be Biblical"
Passion of the Christ shines light on a very important aspect of what happened 2000 years ago. What did Christ do that got him killed? He exposed the money lenders - aka Financial Cabal (Banksters) of that day. Even today the Financial slavery is the main source of control for the Cabal, but instead of usury they streamlined it into central banking and control entire countries rather than individuals.
The passages in Leviticus gives us some clue about the origin of these Banksters. It says that God gave Levites the technology of Gold. I believe it was more than just how to melt it and make it into ornaments. It was about how to use Gold to create money and to be able to control people. I think it literally refers to the origins of the Financial Banksters. Was the intent of passing this technology benign or malign? Its up for debate. Humanity as a whole would definitely thrive if everyone understood all the intricacies of the Gold and money.
The Cabal has been hiding the fundamental truths that are present in all scriptures, and perverting them, and creating artificial strife between religions, between peoples, between ideologies etc forever. But the religion itself I believe originated from the Beings who brought civilization to us.
As for the rules - like the 10 commandments or the morality found in all religions - these are blue prints for humans to be able to live free. We are now seeing what happens when humans forget these morals. It allows the Cabal to corrupt our kids and brainwash them into destroying themselves.
The 10 commandments also form the basis for common law and allowed people to live in harmony without any complex man made moral system. Lawyers eventually perverted it and made it intensely complex as yet another means to control us.
You are relying that the Bible is correct. It was the Annunaki that showed us how to smelt gold. That is why they came to earth. Their scientist, Enki, along with his half sister, Nimah, are the ones who created man. Many, many stories in the Bible were gleaned from the cuneiform tablets.
Honestly I havent dug too much into Islam. Not sure if Mohammed was contacted by any Beings - from what little know, Islam was created as a controlled operation.
I think there's some merit in looking at the concept of archons...
