Most people I know aren't really that political. They can be culturally conservative (usually boys) or culturally liberal (usually girls) but I don't really know anyone who's interested in elections or government stuff. Getting zoomers to be interested in politics is gonna be really hard.
I'm a guy. I'm a bit different cuz I've kind of always been interested in politics. I used to know everything about the presidents when I was a kid and thought Trump was hilarious during the first debates. I spent a lot of time trolling people on reddit and YouTube and just being involved with the right wing online culture in general. I moved from the_donald on reddit to pdw and then found gaw.
So I'm not really a normal example. Most zoomers are more into memes than actual politics as was I for a long time.
So, in your opinion, is there a topic that would engage them if they understood what was actually happening? Or is this a waste of time and energy to even consider?
We can’t even engage the Young Republicans at our local college… 🤦♀️
The only really popular right wing guy I know is Nick Fuentes but that's because he pushes things to the extreme and says things that are provocative.
Basically if you want to interest young people you have to be as far from what you think would appeal to a "normal" person as possible. Zoomers generally hate society and cliché talking points.
Another thing, typical economic messaging really doesn't appeal to gen z. Even the most conservative zoomers can't stand traditionally conservative economics and hate the Ronald Reagan stuff.

Are you political? Are you Male or Female?
This is not a snide question - it’s genuine, and I’m trying to understand your generation and what makes you think…Why are YOU here on GAW?

Would evidence of crimes against humanity or crimes against children fire them up? Or would they react with “meh” even to that?
Yeah I mean everyone knows about Epstein and stuff but it's just a meme. People think it's funny.
