God often pushes people to the brink of disaster before He brings the rescue. Just think of the Israelites backed up against the Red Sea as Pharaoh's army comes storming in. How many of them were expecting to go walking through the bottom of the Red Sea, on dry land? How many of them expected to witness Pharoahs army drowning as the water closes in on them?
We should be crying out to the Lord in desperation, all the while trusting in His deliverance.
