there was an episcopal minister I had the good fortune to meet and have communion with whose ministry was in a tiny Christian church within the disputed territories outside of the Gaza wall. He and his wife really opened my eyes about the truth of what was going on with the expanded settlements, and the goodness of many of the people there, it was an agricultural region for centuries, olive groves, herbs, cut flowers which were bought from as far away (to them) as Europe, France and Spain. The terrorists are gangsters, same as cartels in South America, they yell about religion, but they are mobsters of another sort. For some reason I am very sad and worried about what is going on there. I knew it would happen, it is not a shock, but to bear witness, if you have seen so much of it, it just is so damn sad. Christ have mercy.
