It isn't just Canada. It's in the States too and I see it encroaching a little more here and a little more there. Clothing, words, speech...only the protected class is protected. The rest of us wear the mask or stay out. Get the enhanced State I.D. or don't fly or go into Federal buildings (it's coming, just delayed).
