Maybe you are not grasping what has taken place.

This has nothing to do with who the speaker is, it has everything to do with 8 slipknots ousting a speaker without any plan for a replacement.

Isreal is at war and we can’t do anything because these clowns put zero thought into the potential consequences.

Thank you for citing the rule, not someone's opinion. I think you're misinterpreting the part that reads:

Pending such election the Member acting as Speaker pro tempore may exercise such authorities of the Office of Speaker as may be necessary and appropriate to that end.
