Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Been mostly out of the loop for the past few days, but it is mainly due to me trying to fight off the last grips of an illness and focusing on my hobbies in animation and reading up on that Pathfinder adventure pack I am planning to play.
Is it bad that I feel neutral about the conflict? On one hand, there is some serious deliberate failure within Israel's military ranks that allowed this attack to happen. On the other hand, it is no lie that the Arab Muslim nations (especially their leadership) that surrounds Israel wanted to see Israel destroyed and constantly bragged by their intentions, spread their propaganda to their hapless civilians, and escalated the situation instead of attempting to diffuse the situation.
Is this really the case, tho? The work DJT accomplished with the Abraham accords actually shows the opposite. When the strings are cut, these nations by and large just want to get along. But for decades (and longer) the Cabal have been fomenting upheaval and conflict in the Middle East.
I agree with Bubble. The best approach is to feel neutral. And if, you feel that way, I think it shows that you have made progressive in disconnecting from the Matrix.
The first issue is filtering what news is real, and what is fake. Then, what news is real but what narratives are being spun based on that. What players in the psywar are promoting which narratives, and why.
FYI, there was a great discussion on this very topic (how to engage with 'the News' using the current Israel- Palestine situation as the example) on the last Defected, Sunday.
Start at appox 21 minutes in. Well worth the time, imo.

Neutral is the best way to feel about any psyop going on right now, including this conflict.
