I don't have a dog in the fight but the Israeli response to what was a terrorist attack, is nothing short of murderous genocide.
This wasn't carried out by the people in Gaza but by a group of terrorists funded and directed by God knows who in order to provoke a war.
Levelling the homes of innocent Palestinians in an act of revenge is just as barbaric and simply wrong,
Even worse is the thought that this was like 911 and that it was all carried out with Israel's knowledge all along.
Sorry if my views don't align with many on here but Jews don't get a free pass every time by crying holocaust as if they are the only ones to have ever suffered.
2006 Palestinian legislative election was the election where Hamas took power.
Those were also the last elections allowed...
The truth is, we dont know what the Palestinian people would choose if given the chance but we can probably take the lack of elections as an indication of how Hamas think it would go.
Doubly so in that they, as far as I know, don't even try to protest Hamas and their wicked ways, en masse.
And don't give me the "protestors will be ruthlessly killed" excuse. Protestors are also ruthlessly killed in China and Iran, but that does not stop large scale protests from erupting in recent years. Never heard of such demonstrations in Gaza.
Do they all support Hamas?
Would they need Hamas if they weren't being persecuted by Israel and were able to live in peace and dignity?
I doubt if the normal people in Gaza wanted any of this.
I now view them as victims too.
"they are not all innocent" but what about those that are? The 4 hundred and something babies they've pulled out the rubble?
When the British Army was in N. Ireland, they didn't murder women and children because they were Catholic or supported the IRA. They went after those actively engaged in terrorism.
Regardless of what Holy book one reads, I'm sure somewhere in there it says you just don't do shit like that!

Did the Palestinian people vote with Dominion voting systems? /jk
