It's almost a certainty that they at the least knew 9/11 was going down, and that was just brushed under the rug. It was known for certain they tried to sink the USS Liberty and that was brushed under the rug. They tried to draw the US into war by planting bombs in Egypt with the Lavon Affair and that was brushed under the rug.
