I have a very hard time with the concept of "Hell" personally & figure that any eternal "punishment" is simply more of a natural consequence thing. Individuals that just want to rest & not experience further challenge & growth after thus life are "damned" or stopped from further progress because they do not want to do what is required for more progression.

Think of it like an individual who doesn't want the responsibility of driving & the potential hazards that come with moving a lethal object through a city. I have a hard time believing that God would make them get a lisence & a vehicle, along with the insurance, cost of fuel, & the necessary upkeep tasks involved with it. Those people will have less freedom/choice due to the inability to move around, but it isn't a punishment so much as a choice to live with less potential. Though walking around in Heaven would still be much better than living in a world filled with lies & others tearing each other down in an attempt to be the top dog so to speak.

I figure we will end up where we would be the most comfortable to live out the rest of eternity, doing the work or relaxation that we want to & will be happy there.

The concept of Damnation for me is simply being blocked from progressing further due to our own choices & if we are comfortable with the results, then is there really any problem?

Granted many Christian friends of mine think I don't have it right & I figure they just do not understand what I have come to believe. I could certainly be wrong, though my personal experiences have given me reason to continue this course of belief.
