How many States along the southern border are in the same predicament? How about the northern border which rarely gets discussed? Every State in the union should have the autonomy to arrest/ detain/ jail/ prosecute and deport illegals and the NGO’s that assist them.
We’re being flooded with dirtbags and enemy combatants and there’s not enough time left to do anything about it in the corrupt courts.
Personally, I think that while they are waiting for their deportation hearing that the states should have them working on a chain gang to clean up the streets, parks, everything. They came here to work, right? Well put them to work! Letas GOOOOO
Chain gang is fine, but I'd rather have them cleaning up the US side of the border where they trashed everything. Same for fixing the rancher's fences and everything else they destroy. That would accomplish 2 things. First it would make the ranchers whole and clean up our border. Second it would guarantee there would be Law Enforcement there, which would keep other invaders from getting in and trashing/damaging stuff while the LEOs are there.
Because it will ultimately be overturned as unconstitutional. Texas has tried several times to enforce border law, and even had programs in the past (along with Arizona) that allowed the Border Patrol to deputize and train certain state LEOs.
I love the idea, but until a law like this comes from CONgress a leftist Federal judge will stop it every time. For that matter the infamous Hawaiian judge may even make another appearance. It's infuriating.
So they needed to write a new State law to enforce current Federal law because the Feds won’t do it.

I believe a sheriff can deputize anybody. You got a gun, you got a badge. Go round em up.
