Well when playing the central bank game, this is what they should be doing to fight inflation. Not raising it by 2% and waiting for the problems spiral out further
That said. Looks like Argentina is going to be one of the first Great Resets at this rate. Hopefully the people of Argentina take the collapse as their moment to reject any future forms of government
Wanna rephrase that last line?
It sounds like a utopia to me, something like anarcho-capatalism :-
"that advocates the elimination of the state and the elevation of the individual in a free market.
no state is morally justified, and that the traditional functions of the state thus ought to be provided by voluntary human interaction. Others, claim that the state is economically and socially sub-optimal and that non-physically coercive human interaction yields greater Marshallian efficiency."
"Anarcho-capitalism is a consistent version of capitalism, where coercive public monopolies would no longer exist.
Anarcho-Capitalism embraces the free market, which contrasts with collectivistic anarchist philosophy.
"Anarcho-capitalists state that an employer-employee relationship may be a mutually profitable form of voluntary association. They resent government as a parasite that corrupts, biases, impedes and distorts what would otherwise be peaceful fair and free associations.
Anarcho-capitalists consider that in consenting to a contract, that each party was free to refuse, the contract is voluntary and therefore legitimate and beneficial, claiming any external power that attempts to prevent such relationship is itself an oppression."
"Because the free market system is so weak politically, the forms of capitalism that are experienced in many countries are very far from the ideal. They are a corrupted version, in which powerful interests prevent competition from playing its natural, healthy role."
I have a theory that the federal government could be composed of four people and the country could not only still function but thrive like never before.
After an interesting conversation with u/bubble_bursts (if I remember correctly) back in antiquity I do concede that this is not an option for now but some more distant future when the entire planet has unwound 1000 fold, sheep are the exception and wars a thing of the past due to the population not being tricked into them. BB made some very good points and some recognizable form of continuity of government is required ATM. I also don't know what this looks like at the granular level and clearly have no real idea what I am talking about. Despite this, my natural desire for this situation is that the pendulum should swing the other way to, hitherto unforeseen and almost mindbogglingly small government.
It's like the John Lennon song except anti-communist and non child molesty.
"Imagine there is fuck all government"
"It's easy if you try...."
Fun new name for libertarianism. Yawn. Give me the Founders’ Government as written in the original Constitution, thanks.
Doing a little reading into what you said and it does seem quite similar to right-libertarianism except anarcho-capatalism specifically opposes the state and seeks elimination of the state in favor of privately funded security services. For evidence that this system is workable, anarchocapitalists point to the 19th-century American West, medieval Iceland, and Anglo-Saxon England.
I must concede that this is radical change, raises a number of flags and is not a solution to problems at present.
I would also like to draw attention to the fact that the founding father's system of government failed, which is why we are in this situation to begin with. It took a long time, with much effort, wealth and toil by the deep state but pretty much 200 years on and that very same government has been rendered a vile effigy.
You will probably get what you want though as it does seem to be, at very least, the disembarkation point for the end of the plan.
I still like my version of Imagine though because it has free chopper rides and I cannot help but ache with every fiber of my being for minuscule government and emancipation of man from the laws of man.
