I mentioned this to several people today, each of which were seeing the same things.
Immediately after 9-11, a LOT of things went into lockdown or high security mode. During the Iraq war, the same things happened.
Government buildings added extra security, placed barricades at parking garages, began checking vehicles or ID's, industrial plants were on high alert, etc... . I know several roads that, if you parked along the shoulder for more than a minute, some law enforcement would stop by to check. I won't go into specifics, but any suspicious activity within certain areas would be immediately acted upon. People, local law enforcement and businesses weren't playing.
Today, with 2 aircraft carrier groups in the Eastern Mediterranean, war between Israel and Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and who knows how the war may grow... Nothing. Zero. Crickets.
I haven't seen one additional guard at vital public buildings, no new barricades, no new security procedures at hospitals, industrial plants, major office buildings, schools, port facilities, etc.... There has been NO increase in the national security alert level over what it was 6 months ago. No response at all to national security or even local or business security to the possibility of war or the implied threat of domestic terrorism. There isn't even a post-it note on a bulletin board about it.
It seems strange to me that facilities haven't been going into high security mode, despite a potential war and considering threats being made by other nations. Anyone else seeing something different?
On o e front I think USA is being dissected up. Arizona is going to Mexican overlords. Michigan is going to Hamas over lords. They are trying to split USA like an egg. They can reinforce via the commie country of Canada and the corrupt country of Mexico. Very exciting stuff. Seattle is another avenue they have for China. Before the tidal wave arrives there is a time the water seemingly dissolves and one will see the ground with creatures flopping around. The one seeing might rejoice and claim the swamp is drained and start dancing to their demise. ;)
Once again I'm glad I live in Texas.
Texas is awesome. My step dad was from •there• and he was born in 1902. He passed sometime ago. We would drive there and visit his family. We drove from Nevada. He would tell me many stories about how he grew up and taught me many things. I wish I learned more from him. He would tell me my side won the war. Lol. I would shrug it off while herding the cattle with him. Many things we take for granite.
