Yes it is. It has to get bad to wake people up from their complacency. If Trump and the military just took over and handed everything back to the people, would the people have the drive to take it back and keep it? Maybe not.

Prepare for the worst. Hope for the best. Freedom requires a fight. Remember the tree of liberty? Never give up.
