Let's go back a few years when you had those beliefs.
What do you think is a good way for people on our side to get people on that side to wake up to reality?
What if someone were to say to one of these people something like, "I bet you have that belief because you think it makes you virtuous; but the reality it makes you the opposite of virtuous, because when you promote lies and fake news to others, it harms them."
In other words, don't actually try to debate the actual issue or facts AT FIRST. Instead, hit them where they are really feeling it, by stating point-black that they are NOT virtuous for holding that view.
If they are open to more discussion, then go with the facts to back up the point.
Would many people who are on their high horse be jolted awake in a good way?
If not, what do you think is the best way to counter these people who actually are harming our society by being such non-thinking lemmings?
I guess I can say that asking questions is better than preaching to them. They will just dig in deeper in their position if they think we are trying to convince them or argue
100%...They really do think we trying to 'convince' them...So I Don't...I drop FACTS within questions in the conversations I used to have with them....I don't really bother anymore because its fucking tiringππ...Glad to say i have convinced quite a few just to do research and think rationally before making any assumptions....
