I disagree. I don't see a race war as a coming civil war.
Anyone participating in open warfare would be wearing one form of color or other, because identifying your allies is important in all warfare.
This has been true all throughout history. Outside of those who wage war through deception (such as spies), you minimize friendly fire with clothes or banners.
It is far more likely to be a civil war between the rural and the urban.
Indeed, evidence of this is how BLM and AntiFA both have their identifying colors or other garb (like black masks) to identify.
When things get dirty, you won't be seeing skin color. You'd be killing your allies who have dirt and mud smeared in their skin.
That said, civil war is less likely without foreign intervention because Americans are already too complacent in their comforts. Most people end up shielded when the crazies go on their rampages, simply because they rampage in their own cities.
