It's a 'special permissino' to go down into the tight, secret crypt. Although the current structure primarily represents the Ptolemaic era, the site that dates back to at least 2250 BC.
I hear you, but, in this case, it literally is 'special' access, as it's an incredibly tight space, and only accommodates maybe five people at a time. A stone must be lifted from the floor in a back room to see the stairs. Really amazing
I have dived deep into dendra. It is fascinating. I didn’t see the light bulb type objects though.
