Tyson has closed five production facilities within the US due to poor sales in various product lines. In Noel Missouri the plant was closed without forewarning and 1500 employees were given $1,000 in severence. If they chose to move to another plant they were given $5,000 in relocation expenses. I would guess about 80% of the employees were illegals or folks without proper paperwork to be in the country. Answer me this....Why would Tyson hire Somali nationals to work in a chicken processing plant in Southwest Missouri. That is a looooooong way from Somalia, isn't it? Better stock up on the vittles or you might be going hungry before too long. Either there won't be food on shelves or you won't be able to retrieve your money from the bank to purchase the food.
