Exactly right. I once needed to turn onto a road that had sharp bends either side - I could not tell if there was any traffic about to come speeding round the corner when I tried to pull out. The Lord just said "When you can't see - LISTEN".
That's what I did: rolled down the window, heard nothing, made a safe turn onto the road. Always listen.
A woman I knew was going home on the London Underground many years ago. Just as she was about to get on a train she heard "Don't get on" Before she could make sense of it something pulled her back, the train door slammed and the train went off. She was annoyed as this meant changing to another line and getting home later. When she got home the news was all about the King's Cross Underground fire disaster: if she had got on that train she would have gone straight into the inferno and perished. Always listen.
