We lost our 19.5 year old chihuahua this year. His brother lived to 17, my yorkie was 16 and our rescue was at least 12 as far as the vet could tell. They all ate "human food". I would make batches of protein, brown rice, and a veggie and stack the meals in the freezer. Then I'd alternate the proteins so they'd have a variety. We're not in a hurry to start all over but eventually we will.
