Pedophiles are using AI to generate "astoundingly realistic" child sexual abuse images that many people may find "indistinguishable" from real pictures, an online safety group has warned.

The AI companies should find this EXTREMELY east to shut down, unless of-course the real purpose is for pedos to be able to claim that their criminal stash is merely AI generated.

In the UK that wouldn't matter. Even if you make a pencil drawing that looks like it could be a child in a sexual context you can be prosecuted for child porn.
