Either people know somethings up or are getting smarter about the US Dollar. This is the second time this month we are trading goods with a local rather than buy with cash.
My husband gave away his old run down truck in exchange for getting our boat fixed up. People are getting creative and I love it!
I’ve recently traded canning jars, quarts and pints and the rings for 4 dozen eggs. They got two dozen of my jars. I’ll get them back as I bring the cartons back. Husband swapped out his oil changing skills for local honey and goat cheese. People are realizing that bartering is cheaper and we’ve met some great people
Love this!
It sounds like you have a wonderful community. To have local honey, eggs, fruit and veggies to share by trading skills is a lost way of life. I’m glad to see folks setting up community networks.
This is great!
Chickens, the best way to turn insects into natural protein.

Save your bottle caps! Especially if they have a star on them.
remember: the dollar value on bartering is still taxable. do not make too much noise about it.
People never quit trading this way. You are the new-comer.
I built a screen room for an air conditioning system.
Awesome!
