All McCarthy had to do was be a man of his word and he'd still be Speaker. McCarthy chose to break every promise he made.

He needed to be unshackled to fight the Deep State. They forced him to promise all kinds of ridiculous things, thinking they could control him. Sometimes to make an omelet, you have to break a bunch of eggs.
