I picked up on it thanks to eagle_eyes2020 who is a native German speaker. Prior to that I thought stollen was just a delicious German Christmas bread. Which had me hoping it was signaling a nice Christmas surprise.

I got a kick out of the fact the link explaining the word was for day 17 of Advent.
