My thought process is... if the Rino's wouldn't even let Jim Jordan be speaker, there is no way they would let any of the people's picks, of true conservatives, become speaker. Hope I'm wrong here.
He does seem very pro Israel, after the attacks he put out a statement where he calls Israel our strongest ally and says that the US will provide the resources to rid the world of Hamas.
" Several days ago, the West woke up to the horrifying news that Israel our strongest ally in the Middle East and perhaps around the world was under siege from Hamas. The Palestinian terrorist organization that has made expressly clear, their goal is the total extermination of Israel and the Jewish people.
The reports and images of Israel are appalling Hamas terrorists have reportedly beheaded Israeli hostages, murdered Children and mercilessly attacked civilians. We’ve spoken personally with many of our friends and leaders in Israel and they are desperately in need of our prayers and support.
We do pray that leaders have the courage, wisdom and perseverance to make difficult decisions and ultimately have the willingness and wherewithal to destroy our enemies, not just deter them so that this never ever happens again, regardless of what the rest of the world may say.
And let me be clear, the United States unequivocally stands with Israel and we will provide the support and resources necessary to rid the Middle East and the world of hamas’ terrorist regime. Please join us in continued prayers for our friends and our allies in Israel."
Apparently, he voted to overturn the 2020 election, voted against same-sex "marriage," and voted against aid to Ukraine.
Good signs, but I remain skeptical until further results. Swamp runs deep.
Swamp runs deep and a lot are sleepers even still.
With a resume like that though, unless people can find some glaring flaws, that's pretty solid.
Where are our sleepers
It seems Matt Gaetz endorsed Mike Johnson
What does he have to say about funding everyone else before the US? Is he America First?
Good. That sounds promising. Thank you.
I'd say he is. Check out u/BerlinWallCrosser post with past GAW posts. It's sticked right now.
Oh, nice. I will read through the past posts. Thanks.

He went to Israel along with Jim Jordan and met with Netanyahu in February of 2020 although that was related to Trump's Peace for Prosperity plan. https://mikejohnson.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=731
Basically I'm seeing pros and cons to him, we will have to see. Coming into the light doesn't seem to be very good for swamp creatures.
I don't trust anyone who is voted in on a "secret" ballot.
