So much inaccuracy. True, Harald fought at Stamford Bridge, won, and then charged from there South to Hastings with his Army @ double time where he met William the Conqueror, where he was ultimately was felled by an arrow in eye (as depicted on the Bayeaux Tapestry).

You are confusing the two Harolds, Harald Hardrada who was the Norse invader and Harold Godwinsson who got an arrow in his eye at Battle.
It wasn't at Hastings at all.
Battle Abbey was erected by William in honor of Harald very near the spot where Harald fell at the Battle of Hastings. Been there my self many times.
