From my pastor this evening:

“ I want to suggest prayer for the new Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson. He’s an evangelical Christian (the media calls him an “Extreme Christian”) who approaches every issue with a biblical worldview. He said, “My faith informs everything I do.” His pastor at Cypress Baptist Church in Benton, LA, said, “Mike and Kelly are willing to follow the Lord wherever and however He leads them.” So a dedicated Christian is now third in line for the presidency and in a place of great leadership. “Lord, protect, strengthen, bless, guide, and use Him!””
