You do realize that it is 2023, and everyone has high resolution cameras in their pockets. Moreover, AI has gotten to the point where a child could produce an image more detailed and realistic than this by simply describing it to a machine.
In other words, it's going to take a hell of a lot more than a grainy photo of a glowing outline. Fake and gay.
To add to wtf’s comment, ai tends to embed a watermark so that when you train a model, you know if it was trained using legit photos or ai generated photos.
That’s not to say you can’t disable the watermark like others have disabled the NSFW filter, but you’d have to fire up your own instance or find a shared one with those features stripped.
Like wtf said, it’s more of a guideline. If I had to guess, the human factor went up since the photo has the twitters handle overlayed so any manipulation to the photo will sometimes mess with the accuracy. Just things you need to know when using such a tool.

Explain it to me like I’ve had all my boosters- how does a computer know how much of something is authentic vs AI generated?
It's just a guideline. But it is likely seeing patterns in the pixels that aren't natural from human art or photography.
It's not anywhere near a 100% proof of fake or real.
