Contemplate this idea: Uncle Joe and Crazy Kamala somehow get removed/resign from their respective offices. Speaker Johnson is next in line to take over the reigns of power. Now, at the longest he will only have control of the Presidency for a year so what would be his strategy to run for President of the United States? He would have to go up against Trump and who knows how that primary would work itself out. But if Johnson decided to let Trump run for President and he as the VP, then that would place the MAGA movement in a great position. Trump would get four more years and after that time Johnson, if he played his cards correctly, could possibly get eight years. Johnson could become the second longest termed President in US history, just after FDR. Is this plausible? Would Johnson want to take second fiddle behind Trump for four years in order to secure a wonderful run at another Presidential term?
What if Mike Johnson becomes President?
WHAT IF...? 🤔💭
If Kamala goes out first, Biden is taken out, before Biden goes, he can name anyone he wants to fill the VP spot per the XXV amendment section 2. So it's likely Biden would name a real winner (sarc) to the VP spot like Moochele. This person would require confirmation by majority vote in house and senate. Majority is a pretty low standard with the house so closely split.
His nomination has to be confirmed my a vote in both the house and senate. The senate will rubber stamp his nomination but the house can hold out and prevent it.
And if Biden goes out first, Kamalamala appoints the New VP per the 25th. They both have to go at the same exact time for the SOTH to become President.
Highly Unlikely that any SOTH would become President or VP other than Election or Appointment.
They are not going to be able to pick their replacements.
If Joe is removed it will be for cause. He will have no power to name his replacement.
Did you even read my post? I don't think so. Go read the 25th amendment and report back.
