Yeah.. but what the military has access to vs civilian QCs is no doubt drastically different.
By civilian, do you mean IBM, Google, HP, and Microsoft? The cheapest civilian quantum computer is $15 million.
Large enterprise quantum computers suffer from the same problems that I previously described. The military has quantum computers, but they are used for certain tasks. Just the same as super computers. When they need reliable calculations performed a supercomputer is likely to do it. Quantum computing is used to solve more time intensive tasks that would take even a supercomputer a long time to complete.
They both have their place and value. Maybe in 10 years we will see more of the problems ironed out in quantum computing.
I mean what is publicly known, vs mil classified tech
