Good points. I interpreted "I will" more towards subsequent verbs versus the preceding subject. English is a vague language.

it should really be obvious. The amount of bias confirmation what some pedes indulge in is astonishing. This is plain, basic English; every candidate speaks like this, and it does NOT imply in any way that the person is currently the President.
