You're very gracious, friend, but, no, I didn't think you were contradicting me at all, merely sharing your experience/expertise. I was simply elaborating on where my mindset on the topic is coming from.
And, frankly, even if you do contradict me in the future, that's fine, too. We're here to learn from each other and educate ourselves and others. Most anons are pretty decent about disagreements, but every now and then emotions flare and caustic words fly. All good, builds character and those we're up against on the beast side are generally not nice beings so having battle-hardened armor, so to speak, is actually helpful.
I'm very sorry to hear about your prior home loss. While I've never had to endure a loss like that, I do know what it's like to leave my home with a carful and wonder if it will be there when I'm able to return after Mother Nature rips on through the area. I hope you never have to go through that again.
Thank you, friend :). The losses (and I think we all have a list of losses) have only made me kinder and hopefully more able to relate to people around me.
My faith keeps me both grounded and focused on God and people.
