over the course of the next several days

Someone please help me understand how constantly reposting Q34 is helpful when nothing like this occurred over the course of the next several days, or weeks, months, or even years. (Doesn't mean the contingency Plan isn't in full force and effect. Just IMHO it is still beneficial to remain connected to observable, objective reality.)
