Pfizer lays off hundreds at Portage factory
🧠 SUDDENLY 🕳️
PORTAGE, Mich. —
Low demand for Pfizer's COVID-19 products has put roughly 200 workers out of a job.
Hilarious. They just blew tons of cash adding on to the site and now they're laying people off. I'll have to put my ear to the ground tonight to hear if any of our customers work there (Portage isn't very far from this liberal shithole city) and whether they're affected.
Maybe they're going to reopen with imported cheap (slave) labor
H1B visas?
You in GR fren?
Grew up there (Wyoming/Kentwood) and lived there for the majority of my life, but moved a few years ago to the other (deep rural) side of the state, near the border of Indiana, and work in the southern toilet of Michigan, Commiemazoo....
Hanging with the Amish! Haha I grew up in Vicksburg, I now live just north of Commiemazoo, Cooper township. Ive never talked to anyone on this site that lives so close by! I'm always willing to buy a fellow Fren a drink at Louis, just keep that in mind :-)
Not quite Shipshewana, but yeah, we have our Amish and Mennonites. Perfect and quiet deep rural area for them. We let a few of them hunt on our land.
The Trophy House or the newer location? kek
The band I was in played the Trophy House back in 2013, when I still lived in GR. Years later, I interviewed at the newer location, but they couldn't afford me (I'm one of the few chefs; one that's old-school and not tattooed/drugged-up and full of misguided ego; that actually stayed in the business when the plandemic hit, so I'm somewhat of a unicorn) kek
