I've been in ridiculous circle-jerk meetings like this before in the PTA. I bet they hired focus groups and had breakout sessions and talked this shit ad nauseum. Then they probably took sub-votes and then votes and then finally landed on what they thought was an ultra takedown. Only to have us evil capitalists take that shit and run.
