It should actually be illegal to prevent it from being televised. If it's government vs citizen, it means it's important enough for everyone to be able to watch.

Federal courts existed before television.

They are open to the public. Sam Bankman-Fried, John Gotti, Bernie Madoff all got convicted without televised trials.

Several reporters on Twitter have been live blogging the trial that's probably the best blow by blow you can find.
